Barbara and JacquotEducator and entertainer, Barbara uses her vocal talents to bring foreign languages to life for children of all ages. The “Sing, Dance, Laugh and Eat Quiche” series is a continuing program created especially for:

  • Children who have no opportunity to learn foreign language in school
  • Parents who want to reinforce what their children are learning in school
  • Teachers who want to teach foreign languages in a way that will motivate students

Each album of songs consists of an audio cassette or CD and illustrated book in which Barbara teaches and reinforces foreign language skills through music. By teaching songs in a fun arrangement with written lyrics and activity suggestions, kids an have fun and gain confidence while singing songs on a variety of topics. A mixture of traditional and original songs in a variety of styles keeps the interest just as high as the level of fun.

From rap to swing, Barbara’s strong clear voice is easy to sing along with. Barbara shares songs that she has used successfully in her more than 25 years of teaching students ages 2 through adult. Barbara is widely recognized for the lively workshops that she conducts across the country.

    I want to find good pop music. Help me please.

    Are you looking for a specific language? Is it just for enjoyment or as a teaching aid? I like to think that my songs are a great mix of both fun to listen to and also teach. But if you’re looking for pop music to listen in the classroom or out, I would suggest searching online with google for the language you seek. There are also many things on You tube and I-tunes. Thanks for asking!
